N°20: DELSTAR MAIL x CARTHAGO

KUNDIR MAIL is a tall, handsome gelding plenty of strength ridability, the result of a superb cross between two great bloodlines from the Brullemail stud farm.

His sire DELSTAR MAIL (Utrillo vd Heffinck x Katchina Mail x Calvaro) is a star young stallion whose young offspring are highly sought-after and successful in foal shows (several foal champions, 2-year-old champions, young stallions) and at auctions, where his 3-year-old offspring sell very well (between €30,000 and €50,000). Now competing in young horse classes for 4 and 5 year-olds, his young offspring stand out for their quality over jumps (sire of the 2022 CIR de Compiègne Regional Champion and several finalists in 2023).

DELSTAR MAIL was Champion of Normandy and Champion of France for 4-year-olds, then winner of the CSI 2* GP 1.40m at 10 years old with Patrice Delaveau.

His dam MATAHARI MAIL, daughter of world champion CARTHAGO, was a good CSI winner, finalist at the World Championship for 6-year-olds in Lanaken, finalist for 7-year-old and winner of the CSI GP 1.40m (ISO 153).

MATAHARI also bred SAMANTHA MAIL (Quite easy) CSI 1.45m, BYZANCE MAIL (Iowa) CSI in the USA, GP 1.50m and EMORY MAIL (Quercus du Maury aa) CCI3* and Scarlett Mail (Quite Easy) dam of ANGELO MAIL (Fergar Mail) GP 1.35m. His granddam IMPALA MAIL (Alligator Fontaine) is also the dam of SUNDEW D'ENGANDOU (Iowa) CSI GP 1.45m in Switzerland, RANDY MAIL (Fergar Mail) CSI, GP 1.50m, QUICK STEP MAIL (Quick Star) CSI GP 1.45m and granddam of ALIOS DE FLEYRES (Quite Easy) 1.45m.

Her 3rd dam ALMANDINE, daughter of world champion ALMÉ, was 11th at the World Championship for 6-year-old in Lanaken, winner in CSI 1.40m (ISO 151), dam also of FAMOSO MAIL (Hand In Glove ps) CCI European Championship (ICC 156), Pomona Mail (Fergar Mail) ISO 136, Nymphea Mail (Alligator Fontaine) dam of CHISTERA MAIL (Lando) CSI 1.50m.
